  • Download episode from Airtable link


Libsyn

  1. Log into Libsyn
  2. Add new episode
  3. Add media file from hard drive on the right side
  4. Input title in title block,  description block, Apple Podcasts Title block
  5. Category - general
  6. author - Imanee Oxum Mamalution
  7. Full - episode type
  8. Season # - season 1
  9. episode number provided in title
  10. Explicit - clean
  11. Go to Artwork can be grabbed from wordpress
  12. copy URL - image = podcast_bumper_3000-2-01.png
  13. Publish - schedue
  14. set date based on information in airtable
  15. schedule and publish


Airtable

  1. Update status to episodes in production
  2. edit episode (expansion arrows on left) - confirm title and release date are correct


WordPress

  1. Libsyn Publisher Hub
  2. Content
  3. Select correct episode from "previously published" dropdown list
  4. Edit episode at bottom of page
  5. in Apple Podcasts Optimization - Fill in clean content, episode number, season number, episode type, episode title,  author

  6. Scroll to top -> click "attempt block recovery"

  7. Delete block at top (contains "convert to blocks")

  8. Delete anything that isn't the player and podcast image

  9. Always select "STANDARD" player, not the "custom" player

  10. Add image block (same as previous instructions) -> add logo to block from media library

  11. Sometimes have to click around to get the box to show up

  12. Post section (right navigation) -> add logo to featured image

  13. set publication date to date in airtable

  14. PUBLISH

  15. click "view post"

  16. confirm everything looks correct

  17. "copy link"


Airtable

  1. paste link under "published link"
  2. Change status to "Published"
